I seriously can't find complete English lyrics anywhere, but I just look at her pictures in the manga and SEE her. She's always...she's Sasuke's mom. She comforted him when he was down, she...well, here's all I could find on Utada's imput on the lyrics:

DUDE, I have a horrible hate bias towards Uchiha's but I always thought Mikoto was the exception. Not only is she hot, she's a jounin. A jounin that chose to care for her family, and did a GOOD DAMN JOB. No matter how the brother's turned out in the end, I bet neither of them would EVER insult Mikoto. LUFF JOO.

As soon as I saw her I thought she was the sweetest mom. Even now that we know who Naruto's parents are I still love her the most. :3

We aren't given much history on the Uchihas, but in my fanon -Mikoto- was the powerful heiress, and she chose to marry Fugaku to become clan head because she believed in him. I love that pairing, because he was a butt but he really loved her and Sasuke...and Itachi, I don't think he could bring himself to raise a hand against anyone in his family when it came down to it. D;
